Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 Pkg white cake mix
  • 1 3 oz. pkg lime gelatin
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of Florida Key West Key Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Hartley’s vanilla

Icing

  • 1 stick of butter at room temperature
  • 8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 3 1/2 cup confection sugar confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons of Florida Key West Key Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp of Hartley’s Vanilla

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cake

  • Add cake mix and gelatin
  • Add 1 cup oil and 3/4 cup orange juice and beat
  • Add eggs
  • Add lime juice and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes
  • Pour into cake pan (9″x13″) and bake for 30 minutes
  • Cool completely before icing

Icing

  • Beat 1 stick butter and 8 oz. cream cheese until smooth
  • Add confectioners’ sugar and mix
  • Add Florida Key West Key Lime Juice and Hartley’s vanilla and mix until smooth.
  • Ice cake and enjoy!
